Carnegie Hall
Description
The Carnegie Hall is situated in the heart of Sandwick. It is home to several local groups from the community and is always open for new bookings, whether it be Sunday teas/classes etc.
A public meeting was called on Wednesday 19th June 2013 to consider the future viability of the Carnegie Hall. It is currently faced with overheads which now outweigh the regular income. It was decided to make every effort to avoid closure of our local hall.
A steering group has been formed to take forward ideas as to how they can help support their local hall. They are particularly keen to hear ideas which would give the hall its own niche in the community, therefore any suggestions please feel free to post on our page.
