Level 2 Coach/Teacher required St. Helens Swimming Club are looking for a Level 2 coach or teacher to help us with training our swimmers. We have swimmers that range from just passing their stage 6 qualification all the way up to established swimmers who have qualified at County level and beyond. We are looking for someone who can commit to 6 hours per week over 3 days (Tuesdays, Thursday and Sundays). Someone who, at times may need to be in the water with the children, make training sessions fun but encourage the children to reach their full potential. Sessions will include stroke development, drills, sprints and diving. If you would like anymore information on this role, please do not hesitate to get in touch. The kids had a great fun filled afternoon today.

The bag pack tomorrow has been cancelled due to low numbers attending.

There will be no training for A group on Wednesdays until the new year.

We have been invited to attend a bag packing event on Saturday 16th December at Marks and Spencer (St Helens). The event will run from 10:30am to 3pm and it has been agreed that the club will receive 50% of the funds raised from this event. Whilst we understand that it is very short notice - in addition to the fact it’s almost Christmas! - we are hoping as many swimmers as possible will take part, as they will all benefit from any monies raised. This is an excellent opportunity to raise some much needed funds for our club and we thank you for your continued support Please let us know if you can make it at any time of the day. The Committee

Plenty more PBs in the pool this afternoon and some swimmers came agonisingly close. Special mention to the amazing Kayleigh Smith who knocked a massive 16 secs off her 200 IM! After a difficult few months, it's great to see the swimmers and coaches hard work is paying off. We are proud to be a part of St Helens Swimming Club.
