Tor Down Quarry
Description
Tor Down Quarry, is a disused granite quarry situated in the village of St Breward in Cornwall. It was bought by John and Kirsty Hewitt in May 2011 and they hope to clear the land and make it into a small holiday park with luxury log cabins. TDQ is just over 16 acres and we have two fully stocked lakes and great views of the Cornish countryside.

3rd rental cabin almost finished, photos to follow but I would quite happily move in!
So our third cabin, Tressa is well under way and we are ready to take bookings from the second week of May. Our FB friends will have the opportunity to rent Tressa (sleeps 6) for just £60/night, with no minimum booking. Tressa comprises of a master with ensuite, a second bedroom with 2 single beds, family bathroom and an open plan living room with a double sofa bed. Please don't make your staycation too short as there is sooo much to do round here, just 20 minutes from the sea, 2 minutes from the moor, short drives to lovely villages and historic coastal towns you might end up going home for a rest! First trade fair, was good fun and fingers crossed lots of people want to Silent Disco and party with us!

Just 6.5 degrees but we had 4 keen swimmers, I think the coffee/tea and patio heater afterwards was appreciated!
