Three holiday cottages in idyllic St. Agnes, available to let weekly from Saturday. Short breaks available out of peak season. Goonown farmhouse and Barn date back over 300 years and have been owned by members of the same family throughout this period, although not now a working farm. The Barns has been converted into three attractive self contained cottages which retain much of the original character of the property

The Eden Project's Festival of Lights is running until the 30th December. We visited tonight and can highly recommend. The combination of lights and music in the Mediterranean biome was just magical. Topped off with a spin on the ice rink, and a mulled cider, and I'm now feeling super Christmassy!

Despite the cloudy afternoon I thoroughly enjoyed my cliff top walk today. Barely a soul to be seen, apart from the occasional dog walker and a handful of hardy surfers...brrrrr!

Had another look through this great book by Clive Benney, one of a series of photographic books documenting the history of St Agnes. Pictured is my Grandad who owned the farm, and a couple of elephants hanging out on the road beside the barn - a sight I would have loved to of seen.

Made this delicious blackberry clafoutis from the first batch of berries picked from our fields. Yum yum! Yours to pick too if you're staying in our cottages!
