April to September - 10am to 5pm
(Last admissions at 4pm)
(Closed for winter months - November to March)
Come and learn what life was like for prisoners at Ruthin Gaol - their daily routines, what they ate, how they worked and the punishments they suffered (sometimes for stealing an apple!) Visit the condemned cell, experience the 'smells' and listen to stories of its most colourful prisoners.

👻🎃 Fydd drysau Carchar Rhuthun yn ail agor yn ystod wythnos Calan Gaeaf, pan fydd llawer o weithgareddau ar gael! 🎃 👻 // 👻🎃 Ruthin Gaol will be reopening its cell doors from 28th October - 3rd November for Halloween week where we’ll have a whole range of special spooky activities to take part in! 🎃👻
