Another job where quite the transformation was achieved. Knocking out a wall between the old kitchen and dining room to create the one large space, but also lower and insulating the ceiling and insulating all the external walls with a high spec but thin insulation sheets so not to reduce the size of the room greatly. Again the end project is a stunning living space that will change how the home is used for years to come. All top class trades were supplied which included, builder to knock out and install steel beam, joiners, gas safe plumber, electrician, plasterer and painter so the project was done to the highest standard as you can see. Renovation works carried out in an end terrace house on Kings Park Avenue in partnership with Seamus at Designer Kitchens These jobs are very hard work but always worth the effort and enjoyable to do as you really are transforming the whole house for the better. We knocked through to install french doors which let light flood through from the front to the back of the house like never before and also added the convenience of a downstairs toilet in the space under the stairs of this old building to bring it more up to date with modern comforts. Once again this was a follow on customer recommend as we had done work for various members of the family before so they were only ever going one place when looking to carry out these major transformation works. Kitchen recently completed in Bearsden in partnership with Seamus at Designer Kitchens. This was us returning to a job as the kitchen was installed by us 15 years before so obviously we were delighted to be asked back as has happened so many times with other jobs. This was a fantastic job to work on, a lot of very hard work but as I'm sure you will agree if you browse the photos the transformation was something special. When designing this kitchen I was well aware that the lovely couple, Carol and David, where after a wow factor with something different so I set about to fulfill their needs. The larder unit and dresser set up down the left hand side give a great feature wall with fantastic storage options as well as very pleasing to the eye. With the work surface they wanted to go with something much better than the bog standard laminate finish and decided to go with this Encore solid surface finish. While this is a premium product the finish is exquisite with almost seem-less joints in each of the 3 corners with this long lasting worktop, it is very labour intensive to install these correctly but they are a job to work with and the finish is proof of the worth.
