Did you know 1000s of Veterans never claim their Pension Entitlements 60 years of age gov.uk/guidance/pensions-and-compensation-for-veterans Deferred Pension: If you have more than 2 years qualifying service and did not qualify for an immediate pension. Deferred Pension: If you leave the Armed Forces before the immediate pension Point, you may be entitled to a deferred pension. This pension is paid when you are 60 for service before 6 April 2006 and age 65 for service after 6 April 2006. You can have all your pension benefits paid at age 60, but it will be actually reduced to reflect the early payment. A tax free lump sum of three times the annual pension is also paid. The deferred pension is not paid automatically; it must be claimed from Veterans UK Pensions Division gov.uk/government/public...pensions-forms A deferred pension cannot be paid earlier than age 60, except on grounds of ill-health. gov.uk/government/upload..._explained.pdf In some cases it’s not a lot , however with a few years under your belt it can be a few thousand.

Good morning to you in the Veterans Community. I as chairman & founder wish you all the best over this festive season. I see over 100 veterans a week and I support all your requests as best as I can but I am only 1 person. ... over the past 12months 150 veterans & there families have Benefitted from our voluntry services support & advice from myself my volunteers the military veterans and without who's support keeps me doing what I do so thank you all.. We have supported all your needs within the remitt of what you have needed reguardless of your issues that we have helped you with & given a little bit of hope to.. We aim to support the need & urgency of your cases .. where you all have been let down by other associations organisations and individuals who want to help but have no idea how to help..with the professionalism that we have offered by our experts has been priceless in your ongoing issues ..then please note it is the volunteers who I also wish to thank.. we are one of the hardest working organisations in Halton RUNCORN & widnes and as a none funded association we rely soley on you to help as a priceless member of the community and for that I am humbled.. Nxt year 2018 is our 8th year in existence but only 7 years in the public eye and in that period funding has been hard to achieve as we at the RVA have had bogus organisations come into Halton chugging. we have had organisations and other charities apply for funds in our name and we have even had funding bids blocked but ee continue to grow. We currently have veterans aged from 21 to 101 .and run 15 community projects that benefit the communities neighboushoots where you live... So I hope you all have a good xmas and I wish you all a great new year ...
