JKL Tackle Hi and welcome to our JKL Tackle page. Our shop was founded in February 2012 by my boss Jim Read. It is run by myself (James Gillard) and Jim himself with additional help from Christina May as needed. We have a very good range of stock from Carp to Coarse including Nash tackle, Korda, Drennan, Maver, Preston and many more. We have a very large selection of bait available and all bait and products can be sourced and in the shop within 48 hours if not available. We are a fishing shop run by fishermen with nearly an incredible 90 years experience between us ! It's not just a job. It's a passion for us and we are proud of the shop and our customer base which we are always looking to expand.Feel free to post to our page. We would love to see your catches !

Clavering match lake yesterday. Lakes still not fishing as they should be but a good day for all. The fish were definitely following the wind with Roger and Brian leading the way with a well deserved 1st and 2nd. Roger was on the fish from the word go, bagging a few before Brian and James even had a notification. Brian came on strong in the last couple of hours to shoot into 2nd place. James did the best he could up the other end of the lake and finally found a small pod sitting under a tree to take 3rd place. Well done all. Good to see some Carp on the bank ! 1st Place - Roger Phillips - 55lb 6oz 2nd Place - Brian Newman - 49lb 12oz 3rd Place - James Gillard - 42lb 5oz
