Hello everyone, this Saturday we had a Summer Fruits Cake which consisted of Raspberries, Blueberries and Blackberries now unfortunately I didn't get to try any of this cake as I had rode my bike down to The Trellis and it had started to rain so I had to shoot off but as we can all expect it most likely tasted amazing seeing as though it was Emma, my cousin who made the cake and so far not one of her cakes has disappointed. I am sure we are all looking forward to seeing what cake she conjures up next in her kitchen but for now thank you to everyone that came in and we hope to see you again soon.

Hello everyone, yesterdays cake was an amazing Pomegranate and Passion Fruit Cake. This cake looks absolutely stunning and with the pomegranate on top it looks even better. I'm sure everyone including me is looking forward to next weeks cake but until then, thank you to everyone that came in. We hope you had a pleasant meal and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Thanks to my cousin this weekend we had an amazing Raspberry and Cream Cake with dried rose petals scattered over the top. As you can see it looks amazing inside and out and I have to say it tasted amazing too. The cream on the top had a mouth watering taste that was like no other. Thank you to everyone that came in this weekend and we hope to see you again soon.

Hey guys and girls. This weekends cake was an Almond Cake with White Chocolate and Apricot Jam. This cake honestly looks like no other and it tasted so nice. I'm sure those of you that had some would agree with me but for those of you that didn't get to try any make sure you visit next Saturday.

Unfortunately the same issue that occurred last week also occurred this week but like last week I have returned with photos. This cake is a Banana and Pecan Nut cake and boy does it look good, I can remember my nan, the owner of The Trellis, making banana cake when I was younger and her allowing me to have some after school. Eating this cake brought back so many good memories so that you to Emma, the person that made this amazing cake. If you have had any fond memories that have been brought back by our amazing cakes be sure to post those memories right here for us to see and we'll be sure to reply. I apologies for another late lost yet again but due to me not having access to my laptop I was unable to upload the images yesterday but luckily I have my laptop and am able to now. Saturday's cake was a Cherry Bakewell cake. This cake, although we have seen it before, still looks stunning and I have to say it tastes amazing.

I alpolagise for the late post, due to some unfortunate events I was unable to gain access to my laptop to upload but luckily I am back and I return with photos. Last weekend's cake was an Almond, Elder Flower and Gooseberry Cake. Not only did it look amazing, but it tasted amazing too. We thank all of you that came to The Trellis and we hope that you come again soon.

Good afternoon. This weekend we had two cakes, one was a delicious Strawberry Cake and the other an Apple Crumble and Cinnamon Cake. The first cake we had was the Strawberry cake which was available on Saturday. This cake had a moose like exterior with pieces of strawberries on the inside and was topped by thin sliced strawberries on top with a whole strawberry in the middle. The second cake that we had was an Apple Crumble and Cinnamon Cake. Now although I'm not such a big fan of Cinnamon this cake may have changed my mind about it. The Cinnamon mixed in with the apple gave the cake a mouthwatering taste. The cake also had a crunchy texture in certain parts which made the experience that much nicer. Out of the two cakes I'm not sure if I can decide which one I liked more as they both tasted great.

Yesterdays cake was an Orange and Lemon cake, not unlike the Orange cake we had several weeks ago except this cake has one difference that separates it from that cake. This cake has lemon mixed within the sponge giving the cake both a lemon taste and when mixed with the flavour of the orange both taste create a mouth watering sensation upon your tongue that cannot be forgotten. Hi guys, now I can only apologise for the late running of this post. On Saturday my cousin brought down one of her cakes herself and man was it a shocker. The cake that she brought down was a Vanilla and Raspberry cake which had Raspberries on top as shown and Raspberries also running through the centre with a lovely Raspberry jam to go with and now you may think that because all all the Raspberry you might not be able to taste the Vanilla but if you do think that then you are completely wrong. This cake has a perfect combination of the two which allows both flavours to be evenly balanced giving it a mouth watering taste.

This is just a quick update so no long paragraphs like I normally do but sadly we didn't have a cake this weekend as we still had half of the cake from last week left over. I have been informed by the owner that we should have a new cake next week. Thank you for your time.
