i do not think these are at all suitable for hedgehogs , the ones available in Ross are covered in a camourflage type pea netting which is not secured too well and a hog ( or any wildlife ) could get caught up in the netting , it is very flimsy too, read Gill Lucraft comments below .... the manager of the strore was not very helpful or sympatheic when challenged by a friend about the construction of the house

If you go on a walk this weekend in and around Ross-on-Wye, please check that there are no small animals trapped underneath a cattle grid. Cattle grids are death traps to small mammals that cannot get out if they fall between the gaps. You can help by speaking to the local landowners (or farmers) and asking them to put a ramp in the cattle grid for the animals to get out. Or, send the location to festivalhog@yahoo.co.uk (or twitter on #rosshog) and we'll see what we can do. Thank you from the Hedgehog Festival Team. www.facebook.com/festivalhog

this really isn't at all acceptable and for the BHPS to fund it is disgusting and cruel ... what are they thinking ! :(
