"Dixons Joinery and Glazing" we specialize in all joinery and glazing work and also offer a 24/7 call out locksmith sevice for Aberdeen and shire. Hello, my name is Brendan Dixon and I run the small joinery business "Dixons Joinery and Glazing" near the town of Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire.
We undertake all manner of joinery and glazing work domestic and commercial, no job is to big or small. we also specialize in a number of other services. As a fully trained locksmith trained by master locksmith Jim Mckial (Edinburgh) we offer a 24/7, 365 days a year call out service for lost keys, broken windows or any other emergency related to the trade, we are here for you. Another area we specialize in is flat roofs offering (GRP) "Glass Reinforced Plastics" or "Fiber Glass" as its more commonly known for all flat and other roofing situations. I personally pride myself on always leaving a neat and tidy job no matter what it is I'm doing, customer satisfaction is my satisfaction. please feel free to contact me with any inquiry you may have. My History,
I've been a joiner since I left school in 2006 and in those 10 years I worked for three local companies and was involved in a wide range of all kinds of work. I started wok at Ythain Glazing in Ellon now, (Manor Properties) fitting upvc windows and doors and general joinery. I then carried on to serve five years at Crudens on Albert street Fraserburgh where I mainly worked in the workshop developing my skills in manufacturing off all things joinery. After Crudens I went on to work for local industrial coatings company run by Peter Bruce where I was paired with his other joiner and we did everything from commercial, marine and domestic joinery work and got the opportunity to work with materials like fiber glass and appoxy resin flooring systems. Now in 2016 ten years after my journey begun I've started up on my own.

This year has been all kitchens and staircases but they are now my two most favourite things to do 😂💙🔨 always to focused on the job to take pics but here is a kitchen I managed to snap some before and afters of a couple months back in Craigellachie, the house was over 200years old so it was lots of fun to fit.. 🙃🤙🏻 haha! Repaired all the walls ready for paint. All appliances are integrated, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and even some recycling bins to boot, new flooring down and wham, bam, new kitchen! ✌🏻💚🌈🍃

Staircase redress in oak with glass panels for Mr and Mrs Bremner. Done quite a few of these this year and the pictures never do it justice at all. every piece lovingly planed, chamfered and sanded and not a gap in sight 👌🏻🔨💪🏻 The customer decided to oil it for the finish too and it just looks beautiful, thank you very much for the work guys.. and the amazing home made sugary candy! 😊✌🏻💛🍬💡✨

The first two pictures are the beginning of a long winded story so I’ll try keep it short.. I had done a whole house of interior finishings, skirtings, facings and full door sets but the customer didn’t want to put the glazed doors I’d already fitted through the house (picture one) in place of the double doors (picture two) as he thought it would loose to much light and didn’t want any of the other ones from the brochures so I went to it and worked my magic.. 😂🧙🏻♂️🔨✨ so worth it these look ace and are a total one off thank you Paul Waterfield for the trust and letting me get on with it ☺️✌🏻💛💡🏠💫

Nice wee bathroom refit this week, it may be small but was a good turn around for one guy in 5 days with some help from master plumber Martin Rollo ❤️👷🏻♂️🔧Old suite out, striped back to bare walls, plasterboard, plastered and painted. New suite, laminate floor and hardwood finishings and it looks so nice, well pleased with it ☺️✌🏻🔨💜🚽

Really wish I would start taking before pictures 🙄 this was a kitchen revamp in crimond. Replaceing worktops and removing old tiles for splash back and making the island to a breakfast bar with the extra wide worktop in a beautiful slate grey. New hob, sinks and lighting layout to. Made a really good job of this, well chuffed so we’re my amazing customers as always ☺️✌🏻💙💡🔨

Built in wardrobes with mirror sliding doors completed last week. Shelving plan and design chosen by the customer, there is shelving down the right the hatch is for access to the back of the bottom two. 🤙🏼❤️😍🔥
