🎄⚠️The C word⚠️🎄 Yes, we know it’s only August and some of you haven’t even been on your jollies yet! But we’re already getting busy in December 😱 Appointments for the festive period are flying out - with late nights and Saturdays already looking busy. All opening times until the 23rd will be as normal, followed by - • Xmas Eve: 10 - 2 • Christmas Day: Closed • Boxing Day: Closed • 27th - 30th: Closed • New Years Eve: 10 - 3 •New Years Day: Closed We have taken the decision to remain closed between Boxing Day to New Year’s Eve. This is to give our staff a well earned break. They work their little butts off without breaks for the whole of December and trust us, come Christmas Day we’re all nodding off into our dinner, and we want them to be able to spend some quality time with their families, we hope you all understand 🤗💚

❗️It’s a long post but please take the time to read it❗️ As many of you will have seen, the little village of Whaley Bridge is currently famous. The dam wall there has been at risk of collapse for almost a week now, with a risk to life in place, it would have unthinkable consequences to people’s homes and buildings in the village should it collapse 💔 What most of you don’t know, is that Whaley is myself and Jess’ home town. And I’m sure you can all agree that it’s just heartbreaking to think of how many of our friends and family risk losing so much, not to mention the friends we have who are in the emergency services and are there fighting to save it, we couldn’t be prouder. Parts of Whaley were evacuated meaning adults, kids, and pets have been unable to return to their homes for the 7th day, but are hoping today may be the day they are allowed back. The emergency services and local community have been utterly amazing working tirelessly to save our hometown and we will be forever grateful. Amongst those evacuated are business’, who, much like Romiley, are mostly independent, family run business’. And even in best case scenario will have lost a weeks trading. We know how much of a supportive community Romiley is, so we’d just like to encourage everyone that once it’s all over, take a trip to Whaley Bridge - it’s beautiful💕 Buy something from a local shop, have a drink in one of the many local pubs, get a cake from @thebridgebakehouse (to die for 🤤) and eat it by the canal, or get yourself a chippy from Frydays (one of our personal faves), take the kids to the skatepark (a much loved spot for us as teenagers!) or even just go for a walk and say hello, see what a lovely community it is and support them whilst they get back on their feet. ✨ Little Announcement ✨ . . We’d like to say a big well done to Natasha, who we have just promoted to salon manager. . . Tash joined us in September and since then has continued to improve her work and grow her skills on a daily basis. Natasha has worked extremely hard to gain a full client base in such a short space of time, whilst doing so she has also shown important managerial qualities which is why we are now proud to call her House of colours first manager!! 🍾 @tashknibb
