Classes delivered by pro actors and coaches. Mon (Age 6-10) 6-7pm, (Age 11-16) 7:15-8:15pm, Wed (Age 11-16) 7:15pm-8:15pm, Sun (Age 17+) 1:30-3pm. After running a successful Junior Group for many years, Romiley Little Theatre are proud to announce the expansion of their provision for drama coaching for young people with the RLT Acting Academy.

Based in our new clubhouse at Hatherlow Wharf, we will be running classes for 4 different age groups: Kiddies, Juniors, Youth & Seniors. All groups are led by experienced tutors with professional acting experience and provide weekly sessions in all the Theatrical Arts for all levels. As well as learning basic skills all groups will work towards a number of public performances, plus with close ties with the adult company of RLT there will occasionally be opportunities to appear in their main productions at the Festival Theatre in Hyde.

RLT also works in association with professional theatre companies like Breathe Out Theatre, Hyde Festival Theatre Company, Freerange Theatre, Receptive Theatre; among others; providing opportunities to make a smooth transition into the professional theatre industry.


MONDAYS (£3 per session)
Kiddies (Age 6-10) - Mondays 6pm-7pm
Juniors (Age 11-16) - Mondays 7:15pm-8:15pm
(Plus £10 annual membership)

SUNDAYS (£4 per session)
Youth (Age 17-21) - Sundays 12noon-1:30pm
Seniors (Age 21+) - Sundays 1:30pm-3pm
(Plus £10 annual membership - unless already a member of RLT)

Numbers for each group are limited so you are advised to book your or your child's place prior to the start of the new term in January (Sunday 19th for over 17s and Monday 20th for 6-16s.
