It is so important, for buisness especially, to be able to provide up to date fire extinguisher service certificates, and fire alarm service certificates if requested. Being unable to provide these, could result in your insurance being void and a claim being refused. Extinguishers should be serviced yearly, and alarms every 6 months, unless it is in an HMO residence, then it's every 3 months. Fire risk assessments are a legal requirement for businesses, and also for the common areas of rental properties.
