Swimming lessons for newborns upwards, in a relaxed, fun and safe environment.
Having been competitive swimmers for many years we are extremely passionate about swimming and love to share our passion via teaching.
s2s is our swim school which supports new-born babies up to 5 years.
What makes our classes special are that they are small with no more than 4 children in a class. We use limited swimming aids as we believe that we should let a child feel the water in a safe and fun way. Our main aim for the classes is to work in a relaxed atmosphere. We believe that shared enjoyment between you and your child helps promote early bonding and create a secure and happy foundation of well-being.
We are situated at Hamelin Trust Hydro-pool, Gowlands Farm, Sutton Rd, Rochford.
Between us we have over 15 years’ experience of teaching children to swim. Our qualifications include –
• ASA Level 2
• STA Baby & Pre-School
• Birthlight Aqua Baby Level 2 Diploma and
• National Rescue Award
• Member of the IoS (Institute of Swimming)
• Fully DBS checked & Insured
We provide classes during the school term time. All the lessons are half an hour long.

facebook.comAnnouncement To follow up from emails sent to all our little swimmers yesterday we are sad to announce that our swim school will be closing from Easter (March 2018). This decision is made all that bit harder with you lot being such a delight to teach. We want to thank each and every one of you for your superb support over the years, the smiley faces, those first bubbles, dunks, kicks and jumps, the laughs, the tears, the all-round ease at which you and your little ones make our job so rewarding and fun. Alternative swim school options were provided in our email and please feel free to message us if you have any further questions. 5 weeks and counting.... 💔
LESSONS: Feb/Mar 2018 We are posting to clarify lessons going forward after half term with Jody's impending maternity leave: Lessons restart next week, the 21st/23rd/25th February and for two weeks all will remain the same. Thereafter: WEDNESDAYS These will remain the same with Jody teaching (7th/14th & 21st March) FRIDAYS Friday mornings will remain the same with Suzie teaching up until 12:45pm (9th/16th & 23rd March) Sarah will replace Jody for the 1pm-2:30pm classes (9th/16th & 23rd March) Jody will continue to teach 3pm until 5pm, all being well (9th/16th & 23rd March) SUNDAYS Jody's last session 4th March (Sarah and Suzie will be there too) Suzie will teach the 11th and 18th March Sarah will teach the 25th March Hope you're all enjoying your week and have overindulged in pancakes (it's all right, you can give them up tomorrow!)
NO Sunday Swimming (28th Jan) A reminder to our little swimmers there's no swimming this Sunday as Sarah, Jody and Suzie are all on a course. You're back in the pool on the 4th February. Wednesday (24th) and Friday (26th) lessons running as usual this week. Thanks 🐳
MEGA METERAGE! Only 2 weeks into the new term and already we have 3 little swimmers gaining their 5m badge - rock on Megan, Florence and Raff - and a number of others showing real potential to join that epic achievement very soon. As for you babies, delightfulness all round with smiles, giggles, bubbles, kicking, flirting (you know who you are) and general loveliness. 😊

Evening all, We wanted to wish you all a very Happy New Year, filled with lots of love and happiness 🧡 Let’s make 2018 a great one 🎉🎊 Love Sarah, Suzie & Jodie Ps here’s an update from me below 👇 (for some reason it wouldn’t let me share my personal post from yesterday 🤷♀️🤷♀️ so I’ve copied it instead 🤦♀️) . . . . You chose to invade my left breast, the one closest to my heart, the one that nursed my sons. You made me lose part of my identity as a woman BUT I beat you!! Fuck you cancer 🖕 I won! 👊🙌 Today I got to ring this bell 3 times 🛎 After a very tough year I’ve completed all my main breast cancer treatment, I still have to continue some over the next few years but all of it is precautionary treatment - I’ve basically smashed cancer in the chops! I’m so proud of myself and utterly overwhelmed by the love and support I’ve had from my family and friends, I honestly don’t know what I would do without them all. So flipping happy!! 😁😁😁xx
CONGRATULATIONS! The 'Little Swimmer Sweepstake' for Spring Term 2018 has been won by Max Jackson (Fridays at 12:30pm). Two free lessons will be credited in next term's fees. 🐳
So lovely to see some of your smiley faces today for the last lessons of the term. Well done little swimmers, there has been great progress made and it has been a real delight to teach you all. Double Whammy! 🍼🍼 We are sure Jody has managed to let most of you know but just to say we are extremely happy to announce on her behalf that Jody is pregnant and is due in May. To add to the excitement she's gonna pop out two bambinos - yep, twins are on their way! Her family of 3 will multiply to 5 (maths never my strong point) and any top twins tips most welcome. Sending our love and support her way during this pregnancy and beyond. Jody will continue to teach from January but may have to finish up earlier than the end of term depending on how her pregnancy progresses. Sarah & Suzie XX
