facebook.comYear 5 were brilliant in their Year 5 Victorian assembly, this morning. Miss white, Miss Sleigh and all the other Year 5 staff are extremely proud of all the children who showed confidence and the courage to perform in front of a large audience. Thank you to everyone who came to watch the assembly and a huge thank you for all the effort that went into the costumes. The children looked fantastic! We look forward to seeing them again on Monday, ready for a Victorian day and a Victorian, afternoon tea 😉
Year One really enjoyed learning about the effect plastic can have on our environment. They were upset to find out the damage it can do to eco systems and to the animals who live in them. They decided that today they would like to make posters to display around school to spread the message about the dangers of plastic. Lots of future eco committee members in the making!
Yesterday, Y3 went on a visit to Bradford to the Science and Media Museum. We had a busy day, exploring in the Wonderlab, watching a film about Our Beautiful Earth in the IMAX cinema and took part in the Light it up! Activity. The photos show us making our own sun and stars !

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Ranger Rob day for Foundation. As stated on the Spring 2 Newsletter, we invite children to dress as rangers. Alternatively, children can come in non-uniform to celebrate this event. How exciting, we can't wait!
A special day for a special person!
Here are some photos of our Nursery children on Friday 9th March, when parents were invited in after the Special People assembly to share in their learning. Last week all of our children made a beautiful Mother’s Day card to give to their Mummy on Mother’s Day on Sunday 11th March. Didn’t they do a fantastic job?
