The stage coach, used in the village sign, represents the years
of prosperity for Ripley in the mid 1700's. With the improved roads, they were able to travel easily from London to Portsmouth, stopping at The Talbot, (a staging post), to change horses
and speed on to their destination.

The first Ripley Farmers' Market of 2018 is this Saturday 13th January, 9am - 1pm. Visiting Ripley Farmers' Market is the perfect way to purchase fresh, local goods direct from their growers and producers. The market consists of a wide array of seasonal farmed or produced goods as well as other items such as speciality foods, crafts and locally grown plants.
