Founded in1998 we started out in a small premises in Langley Mill, Nottinghamshire. With lots of hard work and a true desire to make our clients happy and be the best at what we do, some six years ago we achieved our goal and moved to bigger premises here in Ripley, Derbyshire. Our highly motivated experienced team thrive in offering the best service for our customers and their vehicles. We operate a professional focused but friendly workshop with an open door policy. Our high spirited technicians are dedicated to fulfil your expectations. ‘If our customers are delighted, then we have accomplished our mission!’

Auto Motorsport Ltd specialise in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, we can offer everything under one roof for your Evolution from servicing to full bespoke engine and gearbox rebuilds, track preparation, alignment services and ECU remapping. We have a dedicated clean room for Engine builds, a fabrication room and plenty of parts off the shelf.
Here at M.G Auto Motorsport we also offer service, REVO tuning and repairs to cover a variety of vehicle manufactures including AUDI, VW, SEAT. SKODA Group.

Well what a roller coaster of a weekend for TeamMG! Round 6 and 7 of the UK Time Attack championship was held at Croft race circuit so we went into a full weekend of racing. With a few upgrades fitted to our Evo IX in anticipation of our new class, we fell foul of a technicality on our Roll Cage. What compounded our problem was the modifications we had made to the cars performance wouldn't allow us to drop back down into Club 4WD. Snookered! 😏 So we had to leave Croft and miss round 6 completely to get the car back into class regulations. The car if I'm honest wasn't anywhere near as powerful and drivable as it had been once it was detuned so we were a little disheartened having to deviate from what we had built ready for this event.... Through all the obstacles we negotiated Friday night and Saturday it had slipped my mind that we had a certain Mr Bruce Winfield at the helm, our star driver who could put a milk float on pole! 😂 Sunday came and Bruce had one Map position to use and boy did he use it! Taking 2nd in qualifying behind an outstanding lap from Ben and the JDS boys and Bruce then going on to win the all important final. Bruce and our fantastic team turned it around and came out on top again! Thank you to all our sponsors, Bruce and everyone who helped make 1st place possible!
