A rather lovely bouquet making it's way to a recipient at the lovely boutique hotel @thefrenchgate in Richmond for a ruby wedding celebration. At the end of a flower demonstration, the designs are given away and I often wonder where they go, did they make it home okay? Did the recipient enjoy them? Like the lady from Glasgow flower club a few weeks ago who won the largest design created that evening and had to go home on the bus (bet that was a sight to behold 😁). There was a lovely buzz in the room and a real appreciation of floral art along with old and new friendships in abundance. This picture was taken at the end of my demo at Sheffield flower club, the lady was so lovely and so happy to receive these flowers so it makes all the hours of preparation that Nafas demonstrators do for each and every demonstration truly worthwhile.

Part of my final design created at the Nafas Cheshire Area Social Day demonstration. I have had three flower filled days this week starting with the very kind and helpful ladies at Sheffield flower club in their lovely new venue, next was my first visit to the Cheshire area to Wistaston flower club, followed by the area day at Frodsham. I have really enjoyed meeting wonderfully enthusiastic flower arrangers and sharing ideas with them. A huge thank you to Louise Jones for organising the social day and to Diane Fair who was helping me back stage - she is awesome! @thecarolineconway photography in action in glorious Swaledale yesterday. 21 gorgeous girls making fresh flower crowns as part of the lovely bride to be @___adele___ hen party in a truly wonderful location bathed in sunshine. Weather was perfect for this outside workshop - I absolutely loved working with them all, everyone produced beautiful handmade wearable crowns. We worked in the garden and everyone was so relaxed! I am so lucky to live just a few miles away and have this location literally on my doorstep! Wowee! We used vibrant garden flowers including Rose's, hydrangea, tanacetum and nigella.
