The first Oasthouse Theatre in the world, home of RaTS (Rainham Theatrical Society) We're a small dramatic group that own our own theatre and put on 6 main productions a year, including our traditional family pantomime.
We offer various type of membership starting from just £7 p.a. !!! So why not come along and have a look around? If you'd like more information please leave a comment on the wall or pop along to the theatre on a Tuesday evening from 8pm onwards (you may want to double check that there will be someone there first as occassionally rehearsals are moved)

We are sad to announce that after a short illness, Mabel Edna Feekings, the unexpected star of ‘Lilies on the Land’ has died. Mabel made her debut on the RaTS stage in 2015 at the grand old age of 11. She appeared alongside the cast in a cameo role as a farm dog made to wear socks indoors and she stole the show every night.

St Matthews Community Centre are performing the Passion Play - Part 2 during Easter 2018 (performances dates TBC) and they are looking for men and women to take part in a variety of roles (speaking and non-speaking). The production is being directed by Geoff Down. If you’re interested in taking part, please send us a direct message and we will pass you on the contact details!
