This lovely little lim x heifer calf popped very quickly into the world this morning while ive been loading muck. So quickly the membrane was over her face and i had to jump out of the tractor and run down to pull it off. all ok now and up and sucking :)

Lovely little pure bred shorthorn bull calf born on Sunday evening. Harpers 2nd calf.

Went to Thame smallholders sale yesterday and came home with a pen of 5 doe kids. Tucked up in a temp pen away from the others. Wormed, vitamin drenched and feet trimmed today just in case. They will live with Gertie and Daffodil after a week or so and grow nicley for a year and then go to the buck in 2018. Meet Trouble, Midge, Patricia, Blossom and Fern.

Market day for the heifers and a new bull calf :)

Hes so tiny he can stand under mums tummy!

So Grace suprised us yesterday with a 3 1/2 week early tiny bull calf! Hes very diddy and clearly early but seems to be doing well and she loves him. Hes spending the afternoon out in the sun today and we will bring him and mum in to a nice warm loose box that i made up earlier this evening, as the weather looks rubbish tomorrow.

Spotty eyes and flunder blunder.. 2 more favs we will miss!
