This bizarre little creature has such a huge personality and loves his belly rubs, we've absolutely fallen in love with him. If you would like Sheldon the three banded armadillo to make an appearance at a birthday party or summer scheme over the next few months please get in touch soon, the diary is quickly filling up and as a non-profit we only take enough bookings to ensure we can provide the very best for the animals in our care.

Frogs have always been one of my favourite species, I was fascinated by them as a child. So excited to have this awesome giant african bullfrog as part of our educational workshops :).

Remember folks, it's not just exotic animals in need that we help, we also specialise in hand rearing and rehabilitating orphaned native wildlife. Our baby otter and fox nursery pens are now free and it's coming up to the time of year where there might be some situations that require our intervention. Nemo. The cheekiest, cuddliest and most amazing little meerkat I've ever met in my life. He has met so many people over the past year and can always put a smile on anyone's face, and it makes him so happy too. If you have met Nemo recently we would love to see some pictures or hear some of the stories of what sort of mischief he got up to! Drop them below!

Hey guys :) today is the last day to book one of our Valentine's vouchers for a one-to-one encounter with some of our animals in your own home. You can choose from Nemo the meerkat, Willow the skunk, Sheldon the armadillo, Otis the owl, Conkers the hedgehog, Timothy the opossum, Barney the boa constrictor and Nala the raccoon dog :) We only have three vouchers left available, so if you're interested get in touch before the end of today and I'll make sure you get a personalised gift certificate delivered to you before Valentines day to give to your loved one :)

Our animal care team spent the day coming up with some new enrichment prototypes for the raccoons. Next stage is to make a more natural looking version of this but we wanted to check they would use it first, Falkor the albino is the only one smart enough for it so far!

This Valentine's day - show that special someone how WILD you are about them 😘⚘⚘🐍🦉🦅🐒🦊🐺🐷🐗🐸⚘⚘ Much cheaper than a dozen roses, and Willow the skunk probably smells better too. We have some very limited spaces available for personalised Valentine's vouchers to be given as gifts for one-to-one sessions with some of our incredible animals. With only a few weeks left to sort out a gift, I'm sure there are quite a lot of people rushing around for last minute ideas. It's okay, you can stop stressing because we have got something sorted for you... This is the perfect gift you can give that special animal lover in your life :)! You can book us as a gift to come to someone's house to give them their very own personal one-on-one encounter with their favourite animal. And single people... there's no need for you to miss out! Instead of feeling lonely, why not invite a couple of friends around and spend the evening cuddling animals :)! You can choose from either: 1) Nemo the meerkat. 2) Willow the skunk. 3) Nala the raccoon dog. 4) Otis the owl. 5) Barney the boa constrictor. 6) Conkers the african pygmy hedgehog. 7) Sheldon the armadillo. 8 ) Timothy the baby opossum. These sessions will last around 45 mins - 1 hour and prices will start at £55 for the choice of one animal, and any of the others can be added for an extra £10 each. Depending on your location there may be transport costs as well. This service will only work with a small group (maximum around 4 or 5 people), if you want a larger group of people to meet the animals please ask about our other services :). All of our animals are educational ambassadors for their species and love interacting with people, so you will get a really special unique experience. And just as importantly, the animals will have as much fun during this session as you will. We are entirely non-profit so all proceeds will go towards the care and rehabilitation of the other animals at our sanctuary. You can choose any date during 2019 for us to come to do the session. We will send you a personalised certificate so you will have a physical gift to give to the person you are booking this for on Valentine's day. This is a very limited offer and is quite different to the educational workshop service that we normally provide, so we will require full payment up front while booking this Valentine's voucher.
