An enormous well done to our cadets who took part in a bag pack to raise money for squadron activities, with the support of 2466 (Loanhead) squadron. All looked very smart and nothing got broken :) Without cadets making the effort to fundraise, the squadron simply wouldn't be able to function. Great effort Team1143 #whatwedo

Some photos of staff from 1143 & 2466 and cadets from 132,2466 & 1232 squadrons taking part in Garelochhead Marches and all the cadets from 1143 & 439 squadrons who took part in last weeks Marches at WARMA have now qualified for this year's Nijmegen Marches well done everyone.
A Medal Haul for 1143 Sqn
Well done to Sgt Mackintosh & Cpl Swann on completing the 80km 2 Day WARMA Marches at RAF Cosford. They were part of the SESW Road Marching Team and one of the first to gain the New Syllabus Bronze Road Marching Badges. The Medal Haul continued with FS Morrison, Cpl Struzik & Cdt Fidalgo in the centre of this picture who all won Bronze Medals at the Inter Squadron Athletics.

Another busy cadet filled weekend past and wow, it was a busy one! - 3 cadets completed their Silver Duke of Edinburgh practice walk, and visited St Abbs Lifeboat. Thank you to 869 squadron fro running this. - Cpl Swann took was selected to represent S&NI Region for rugby. Well done Cpl Swann! - 7 cadets completed Air Rifle weapons handling training and then went clay pigeon shooting. A massive thanks to Mr mackintosh for taking them, and the directing staff FS (ATC) Bain, Sgt (ATC) Moore and Sgt (ATC) Neesam. - 3 staff attended the annual training weekend at Redford Barracks and will be returning with plans to improve things further! - the wing staff dinning-out night at the wonderful Royal Scot's Club. #whatwedo
On Wednesday night we were proud to officially enrol 6 new cadets, who took the Cadet promise with our Padre. Welcome to Team 1143!
