Our location is only 6 caravans away from Trecco Bay’s blue flag beach and just a short flat walk too from the site’s extensive entertainment and shopping complex. There is a master bedroom with king sized bed & ensuite toilet, a twin room, a pull out double bed in the lounge area and a bathroom with walk in shower and toilet. Outside there is decking, garden furniture and a BBQ.
Besides Trecco Bay there are two further sandy beaches in easy walking distance. The one is at Newton and has an expanse of unspoilt sandy beach, perfect for beach sports or an impromptu BBQ and the other, Coney beach, is the commercial resort beach for Porthcawl with donkeys, fairground, cafes etc.
Even if it rains or becomes cooler during your stay do not fear as there is even more to do undercover. The entertainment complex underwent a £7million transformation in 2008 and boasts a most impressive pool complex suitable for serious swimmers as well as having a water slide, chutes, toddlers pool & pirate ship for the younger guests. There is also an indoor play area including Jungle Jims Adventure Play, amusement arcades (for younger and separately older guests), dodgems & Junior 10 pin bowling.
Sporting areas are not limited to the inside though as there is a wet play area, adventure play area, two multi sports courts & Crazy golf with the nearest 18 hole golf course only a short drive away.
The site has a large quantity of restaurants & takeaways so whether you are looking to have a pizza delivered to the caravan, fish & chips, a Sunday carvery or a sit down meal the site can provide it. You can even get a Costa’s coffee and free access to Wi-Fi in certain areas.
You can buy pretty much anything on site in the range of shops but, if you want to venture further afield in search of a bargain, there are a full range of supermarkets in nearby Bridgend and a “Bargain Booze” just outside the site’s gates.
If it is evening entertainment you are seeking then you will also not be spoilt for choice with an 800 seater Showdome, a sportsman’s bar, with plasma TVs covering sporting events, an adults only bar, bingo etc.
Inside the caravan you will find a flat screen TV with radio & DVD player, DVDs, CD/iPod player and CDs, jigsaws, games, books, toaster, microwave, fridge and freezer & full sized cooker as well as the usual crockery, cutlery, glassware etc.
Your gas and electricity will be provided.
Although we do ask you to bring your own bedding & towels, if you are flying into the area or are restricted for space, just say and I am sure we will be able to help for a nominal charge.
Excluding peak periods e.g. bank & school holidays and during months of June - September, we will be happy to offer short breaks (minimum 3 nights). Prices will be supplied on application.

Our 2018 availability is reducing by the day. In two of our three caravans we have little now besides a few short breaks between 2nd March and mid October. Highly recommended and just a 20 minute drive from Trecco Bay. There is the Castle area, Orangery and Gardens, A Children's village & playground, Farm Trail, Go Ape as well as loads of scenic walks and all pet friendly. There is even a little train to take you around. Well worth the car park fee
