Scanning 2018 completed. An average year on the results front which isn’t surprising considering last summer?! but one we can now work with in terms of feeding and forward planning sales strategy. With new tups purchased this year now looking forward to recording performance of the lambs. The younger face is Craig our Modern Apprentice and we thought it about time he made Facebook.

Snow joke today with the weather... it’s all about feeding from dawn to dusk. Trickiest bit is getting to the conservation grazers as they aren’t always in the most accessible parts but perfectly suited to the conditions.

We will be a little bit busier than normal this lambing season so will be unable to accommodate visitors. However, a farm not far from us hosts lambing dates and tickets go on sale tonight - you’ll need to be quick!!

Lambing Students / Assistants Wanted For indoor lambing of 420 ewes between 8th and 28th April. Mix of Lleyn, Lleyn X and Park NC Cheviot ewes. And for outdoor lambing of 600 ewes between 23rd April and 6th May. Experience not essential. Minimum age 18. Accommodation can be provided if required along with meals and top quality cake supplies! We are looking for someone reliable and motivated with a willingness to learn and a positive attitude who is keen to muck in and help with all aspects of lambing including early morning and evenings.
