LIBRARIES & ARCHIVES/ Borders Science Festival Finale This Saturday 27 May 2.30pm two special space missions will take place in Peebles at Peebles High school. The TweedAstros will be holding an exciting balloon race. After which TweedAstros and Peebles High School will be sending a high altitude balloon into the stratosphere which will send images back to earth of the Scottish Borders from Space. PLAY & LEISURE/ Parkour Programme Parkour is a physical movement session, teaching kids how to run, jump, vault, climb, swing and move through the surrounding environment! the next block commences Sat 4 June until Sat 18 June (3 week block). SPORT & DEVELOPMENT / CYCLE SKOOL Sign up today and get them riding like a pro with our Cycle Skool! Back for a third year, our Cycle Skool course teaches the basics of handling and staying safe on the bike. The course focusses on gear changing, how to balance around corners, correct use of brakes and many other crucial safety skills. These fun sessions are run over 8 weeks and can even help those preparing for competitions.
