Warm up outside, pre-entry so we have a rough idea of numbers, but we can take some entries on the night providing you’ve already pre-entered a class. Some assistance will be available to move fillers in or out/back rails etc. if required. Classes will not start before the times mentioned below. Les has been involved with eventing for over 35 years. He has competed at all levels including Badminton Horse Trials. As a British Eventing accredited trainer, Les trains Olympic competitors and is also an FEI international event judge. Lessons from 10am until 3pm. Liveries £25 -30 mins individual lesson flat/jumping £25 -60 mins group lesson (max 4 riders) flat/jumping Non-Liveries £35 -30 mins individual lesson flat/jumping £35 -60 min group lesson (max 4 riders) flat/jumping All entries must include payment in full. Times will be published the Friday before lessons. If you need to withdraw after times have been produced your payment will only be refunded if you can provide a replacement participant for your lesson, if your space cannot be filled there will be no refunds of entry fees. These lessons are for riders who want to or already compete in Showing Classes and want to learn more about them. >> In-hand Showing Group Lessons (Groups of 3 or 4) 1 hour to enable private work with individuals and a Mock In-hand Class with group and individual positive and constructive feedback. £20pp for liveries; £30 non-liveries >> Ridden Showing Group Lessons (3-4 people per group) 1.5 hours per group to enable private work on individual shows. Towards the end of the lesson there will be a Mock Showing Class, with group and individual positive and constructive feedback. Delighted to announce that we will run a second Jump Training Day with Jade Paterson. Riders gain invaluable feedback from a BHSAI UKCC2 Coach (Jade Mcmahon, Equestrian Services) on their showjumping skills in a two phase training competition. Phase 1 - A course walk in small groups before each class. Phase 2 -The competition phase, riders jump one round, get feedback in the arena, and jump again if they have time to do so. Times will be given for both phases. Both of the rounds of jumping are given marks for style, effectiveness of riding and the quality of the horse’s jump and its paces. Any show jumping faults over the two rounds are then included to produce a final score. Rosettes 1st - 6th in each class.
