facebook.comHey all! So we don't make posts like this often...But, on this occasion we've added some new original tunes to our showreel which we're pretty excited about! 😀 Feel free to take a listen, we'd love to know what you make of what we're up to! 🎸Have an awesome day! 🎸 https://soundcloud.com/the-cave-cornwall/sets/showreel
Old skool, punk rock, noisemakers 'Blackout' well & truly brought their A-game for a great live session! One room, one take, 4 rabble rousers & some authentic punk rock attitude! They came, they saw, they rocked the place! Take a listen, give them a like & enjoy your day! 😀
This tip is as true today as it was all those years ago...
Local Punk Rockers: 'Blackout' are on the look out for a new drummer to man the throne & hammer home the defiant message! Gigs upcoming, so get it while it's hot & get on touch! :)

The Elephunk - When people who D.I.Don't, D.I.Do!
Here at The Cave we have a habit of conjuring up ridiculous, last minute, hair-brained schemes that generally involve skills in which we have very limited knowledge...this of course, was no exception. So 14 hours straight (most of which I spent painting a door) & questionable quantities of caffeine later we give you...The Elephunk! Of course it couldn't have been done without long time, Cave-dwelling patron of "no-nonsense" operation John Logan. Who basically constructed the wall whilst I was busy auditioning for the most effective brush-based, paint application techniques! Option paralysis is a real thing! Anyway, we hope that as a result you feel just a little bit of extra musical vibe going round the place! Of course, we're always open to suggestions of how we can make The Cave better & more vibey for everybody so feel free to get in touch if you have any suggestions! :)
Just make some noise! :)
The Collective: Day 1
Philip Glass, Shmilip Shmersh...
John goes through the rollercoaster of emotions that coincide with a distinct lack of Kick Drum.
Today we were privileged to welcome a very talented guest engineer in to the studio. He's been working hard on the mix & I must say his ability to inject high frequency clarity into a production is astonishing. Watch this space for his upcoming tutorial series: 'Making mixes child's play' & 'The frequency lollipop method' ebook. & yes...he did do some ironing before the session.
