Brodie Park, Paisley, Scotland
Description
Brodie Park is a public park in Paisley, Scotland bequeathed by Robert Brodie, a banker, in 1871. This page celebrates public use of the park. Many people of Paisley love and appreciate Brodie Park. It is used for picnics, strolls, play and dog walking. Situated at the south east corner, there are modern tennis courts, a swing park for kids and a 'granny gym'. It is less than 1 mile from the Royal Alexandra Hospital (the park does have a pronounced slope!) and within walking distance of Neilston Road with all of the shops there. Two major supermarkets are nearby and it is surrounded by some of the most remarkable homes and mansions in Paisley.
