Around 6 weeks ago the fabulous Equi-Est Ltd came to refurbish our school. I'm so pleased we had it done, it's riding fabulously, we can feel the difference and I'm sure the horses can too! 👌👌👌

Neeco had a pamper session in the sunshine yesterday, he's not looking too shabby and fitness improving! I've been following the BD and Petplan Equine dressage championships this week and dreaming of qualifying with this lovely boy. A dull day today but dry at least! Have been out hacking with a very jolly Neeco. I'm so pleased this lovely chap seems to be making a come back and am very grateful to his owners for their patience, perseverance and trust in me. We are a way off competition fitness but I'm feeling confident now that we will get back down that centre line in our gladrags! #petplanequine #dressage #britishdressage

This week seems to have flown by following a busy Easter weekend! I have managed to do some spring cleaning on the yard and the horses are all working well. Ted had a session on the water treadmill, he's a real pro and seems to enjoy working in the water. We have him booked in weekly now and will continue with this until we start our event season... waiting for drier ground 😏.

Teddy's flat work is coming along very well, he is starting to look more engaged again and is much shorter in his frame, most importantly over his back and behind the saddle. Ted naturally wants to be long in his frame, so although he has a lovely big trot we have to work hard to add the engagement. It's all starting to feel more like second nature to us both now. While the weather is still so unsettled I have no events entered just yet but will start fast work and xc schooling as soon as the ground allows! #superTed #dressage #eventing #petplanequine #petplanequineambassador

Throw back Thursday.... It seems like only last week that 'The Snow' came, although writing this I've now realised it was 2 weeks ago! On that very snowy Thursday I was attending the annual Petplan Equine ambassador meet which was great fun and very informative. I will be representing Petplan Equine for another year which I'm thrilled about and we hope to use more of our branded competition kit this time!
