M75q part 2
Divided the m75q vid in two of Bonnie at Radfords on Thursday to reduce file size.
Just to let you all know that my teaching prices have had a small price rise of £2.50 on previous prices. School hire remains the same and livery prices will rise by £5 a week to go a small way to account for rising hay and bedding costs. We hate putting our prices up, but we haven't raised livery for several years and we have lots of exciting developments planned. On a brighter note, two lovely bits of feedback from a schooling livery client and a teaching client. Love getting positive follow ups.
A couple of photos of Emma Williams on her mare Honey at the SDRC Jake Taylor clinic on Saturday which was well attended. Jake had his first visit to CES and hopefully will be back again soon. The focus was very much on creating activity and expression. As there were a couple of spaces, I had a lesson on Connor. The conclusion was ask more of him now, train him on and Novice tests shouldn't be an issue, oh and transitions, transitions, transitions! Today brings popular trainer Charlotte Thomas back to CES. Hopefully everyone will be able to make it. Chuffing snow😡

Bonnie M71q at Tushingham. Warts and all video including Jockey forgetting the test! What it doesn't show is a borrowed bridle, two right handed gloves and borrowed stirrup leathers...apart from that, my preparation was perfect #waytootired #stridesveterinaryphysiotherapy #winnerscircle #memoriesphotography
Two exciting opportunities have arisen at 15.15 and 16.00 on Saturday 31st March to train with Jake Taylor. Enter via Horsemonkey (details to search for are shown). John has started the process of repairing the fields...harrowing has begun where we can...you can see the difference it makes. It levels the ground, removes debris and aerates to a degree. Seeding, rolling and fertilizing to follow...let the fun begin
Did some grids with livery Izzy Roberts, working on trying to settle and contain Whizz's energy. Usually i avoid longer to shorter distances, but Whizz needed to engage his brain and really think about the question. Well ridden Izzy!
Yesterday was a day of firsts! Sophie Boyce knocked it out of the park on Diamond Dot Con on her first visit to South Staffs College. According to owner Christine Ralph, she is now peacock and windmill proof...another thing for her C.V. Sophie feels Connie is improving with every outing, which bodes well for forthcoming championships. Mega Megan (Sophia Greenwell), did Complete Equestrian Services proud, nailing her Intros with stellar scores at Radfords Equestrian. Megan copes with some fairly serious lessons about how to ride 1/2 10m circles etc...not bad for someone knee high to a grass hopper...I must admit we do laugh a lot as well! Rhiannon Hinton #RHintonStressage did an afternoon clinic attended by her devoted followers. Apologies to Jo Nunnerley for double booking Lia 😢; hopefully a discounted lesson will go some way to apologize x Some polework and gridwork lessons to keep me out of trouble today. Any last minute bookings contact me ASAP 😁
Article about radiographic findings regarding nose band tightness and suggestions for further work. Warmbloods get the worst of it....probably have expensive immaculate gear on then have their mouth clamped shut😢😡. http://www.eurodressage.com/2018/04/24/pilot-study-radiographs-nasal-bones-usual-site-nosebands
