Here we have a recently laid engineered oak floor of ours displaying pippy oak (or cat’s paw). Pippy Oak refers to boards which include naturally grouped pin knots - creating a stunning rustic effect. This has been combined with our 7” Derbyshire Solid Oak Skirting. For the doors, the customer opted for our traditional 4 ledge solid oak doors, with Hardwick Hinges and Darcy Thumblatch. Oak Rebated Door Frames and 3” Derbyshire Solid Oak Architrave surround the doors with Architrave Blocks at the base.

Derbyshire and Pencil Round are the latest additions to our Solid Oak Skirting & Architrave ranges. The Derbyshire mould is perhaps one of our most intricate and detailed of all of our moulds of skirting and architrave. The Pencil Round on the other hand is our most simple moulds of solid oak skirting, with each length simply incorporating a rounded top. The Derbyshire Solid Oak mould is available in widths of either 5 inch or 7 inch as skirting as well as 3 inch architrave.
