A very windy but successful day for Matt at Chard in the 1.30 - our own and Tony Kaye's (St Davids Equine Veterinary Practice) Fitz the Bill won with it being only his second 1.30, and Anne Verden-Jones' Ballydeely Niamh jumped spectacularly to come second. Fitz the Bill in his first 1.30 this weekend where he came 2nd. This is following a massage treatment from Lisa earlier in the week which freed him up and allowed him to jump on top form!

A good day at Chard yesterday for all the horses, with Donna Pearson's Chanella placing in the 1.20 open, and our own Fitz the Bill and Anne Verden-Jones' Ballydeely Niamh coming 2nd and 4th in a strong 1.30. This is Fitz's first 1.30 and he took it with ease! Ballydeely Niamh is also for sale, do not hesitate to get in touch for more information ! Frenchie, owned by Southern Equine Sports Massage also jumped a nice double clear in the grass ring.

The horses all jumped well at Chard on Thursday, but Donna Pearson's Chanella jumped two fantastic double clears for a 3rd in the Newcomers and a 2nd in the 1.15 Open. Darcy also jumped well for 2 2nds in both of her club classes, and Fitz the Bill and Ballydeely Niamh both jumped well for a couple of unlucky poles.

Fitz the Bill, into the 3rd round of the Silver League at Keysoe at the weekend. After a 7 hr journey the previous day he gave it everything but tiredness caught up with him in the 3rd and final round and he missed out on qualification for HOYS. Behaved perfectly for the whole trip however and certainly earnt a few days off in the field.

The horses jumped well at Bicton on Thursday with Anne Verden-Jones' Ballydeely Niamh coming 4th in the Foxhunter after a short break. Fitz The Bill jumped exceptionally well but had to retire 2 from home due to a tack malfunction! The lovely Darcy jumped round the British Novice on a ticket for a great double clear at what is only her 3rd show! And Charlotte our apprentice won the Discovery on her own Carnview Crackerjack.
