Helping a client to stand from a seated position with the least amount of discomfort to the client can be a challenge. The solution is the Walk Belt - fitted around the client's waist, the belt provides handholds on all sides so a carer can assist with the standing process for the client. In reverse, when the client is being seated the Walk Belt allows the carer to guide the client into the sitting position. The carer can also wear a Walk Belt that the client holds onto giving additional support and balance.
