Hope you've all had a fantastic summer break; we can't wait to see you all alongside some new faces over the next few weeks! We have lots of exciting things planned for this year which we will update you all of soon, but often get approached by charities too after caring individuals like yourselves! One charity we've recently been approached by is MIND! This would be great for individuals interested in mental health and the charity promote themselves as "working in a way that is truly recovery focussed - so everything is set up to support the (re)building of meaningful lives - which fits extremely well with the OT approach"! For anyone interested you need to apply by the 4th October and the link is as followed; https://norwichandcentralnorfolkmind.peoplehr.net/Pages/JobBoard/Opening.aspx?v=bd83c635-ffe2-45c4-9b4e-a1167d145956 We're hoping to organise an individual from MIND to come in to talk to our members about their work and volunteering oporutntrines so keep your eyes peeled, alongside everything else we'll be up to this year! ***JOB OPPORTUNITY*** Market Research Intern June - Sept 2017 £16,000 per annum Peterborough based Based in the Market Development Team The role: Researching the clinical trial market to find new opportunities for ERT. The job holder would get to work with a global clinical trial business and indeed the job would have a European and Global reach. They would be researching pharma r&d projects that ERT might support. We use two sophisticated business analysis and market analysis tools that we would train the job holder in. This is an expanding team and we'd see opportunities for more part time work or possibly a perm role for the right person beyond the initial 3 month period.. Its a role where someone can make a daily impact seeking out multi million dollar projects where ERT'S skill set would be a natural fit. We see it as a brilliant first role for either a penultimate or final year student. They don't need it, but some exposure to business development, research, medicine or clinical trials would be helpful. Its not a technical role and they would have to get under the skin of our business to know which opportunities might suit us. ----- If you are interested email or message us and we will give you all the contact and application details!
