CHRISTMAS QUIZ - Wednesday 7th December @ 7.00pm This is the last quiz of 2016 and this time Colin Morgan is planning a mixture of the usual General Knowledge questions - with half the quiz devoted to a Christmas Theme. The cost per person is £3.50 to include light refreshments. To aid the food planning and to give Colin some idea on how much to print we would like people to book as soon as possible. There is a notice on the board in the clubhouse for names. If you unable to get to the club but intend coming just give Tony or Matt a call and we will make a note. Come along and support the club. You never know you might be brainier than you think and you might wine some wine for Christmas!

Welcome to Shoebox World! - Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child - Update! Ben Barron, Junior Captain managed to donate a total of 9 boxes to the charity. We will run this initiative again in 2017 too, but will look to start a bit earlier around beginning of September. For anyone (like me) who ran out of time to fill a box or simply forgot, a link has been posted where you can fill out an "online" shoebox instead.....easy peasy! Ben Barron, Junior Captain - Operation Christmas Child Appeal Ben is co-ordinating a shoebox appeal on behalf of Samaritans Purse. Can you wrap and fill a shoebox for Christmas for a child in need? Posters are up around the club with guidance and ideas for contents. Boxes will be collected from Northop Golf Club on 17th November 2016. Please get behind Ben and try to help, especially if you are a junior member of the club or are the parent of a junior member. A fantastic inititative!

Reminder..... A reminder that the Club AGM is on Monday 24th October 2016 in the Clubhouse starting at 7.30pm. Please try to attend.

Saturday 22nd October @ 7.30 pm - Presentation Evening (7.00 pm onwards for a prompt 7.30 pm start) Saturday night is presentation evening at the Club. We look forward to seeing all winners collect their trophies at the Clubhouse. This event has been well supported and attended in the past few years and we are hoping that Saturday will be no exception. It would be greatly appreciated if as many prize winners as possible could support the Club by attending on the evening, or if this is not possible to send someone along to collect the award on your behalf. As always all Club members are welcome to attend. There will be bar snacks available on the evening.
