I am a bilingual freelance language teacher based in Devon

J'aime bien être à l'envers, la tête en bas, les jambes en l'air I like being upside down! A l'envers can mean upside down/ inside out/ back to front/ wrong way round/ in reverse... and... l'envers in reverse is Verlan: a French slang where syllables are reversed in a word. eg chébran comes from branché meaning switched on.
