It's been such a year SO far.... ☺️ It would have been the 'icing on the birthday cake' to have won an award tonight but unfortunately we happily settled for Highly Commended in both categories we were shortlisted for 🎉 Best Tourism- we will still attract HUNDREDS of new families from outside Newry to our centre this weekend, we can't wait for another full house as always 🎉 Best Marketing Initiative- #FH10 well this has been a highly successful marketing strategy and to be placed up there with Buttercrane we are completely honoured 🎉 So from our FH team, YOUR team, we would like to Thank everyone who supported us in our 10th year in biz so far. So the results are in for the categories we were shortlisted for and......... We got Highly Commended in both, Best Tourism and Best Marketing Initiative! Leitrim Hill Bed & Breakfast won Best Tourism and Buttercrane won Best Marketing Initiative. NO MORE SLEEPS to the Newry Chamber of Commerce & Trade Greater Newry Area Business Awards 🎉 This has not only been our 10th year in business it has been our most successful year to date 🎉 Planning, hosting and gaining over £13,000 for local charities at our Strictly FUN event in April, to hosting our sold out 10th Birthday AND attracting a record number of tourists to The Fun House and Newry we are buzzing to be finalists tonight 🎉 Becoming top 5 finalists for Best Place to Work at the Irish News awards in June was also a major achievement for our business from Newry 🎉 Best Tourism- why? Simple. We attract high volumes of families to Newry city weekly giving them a top visitor attraction. Best Marketing Initiative- why?
