Kirstie Farbon established KLF Sports Therapy and Massage in 2013. She has a BSc Hons in Sports Therapy from the University of Gloucestershire, and is a member of the Society of Sports Therapists. Kirstie has taken additional courses after graduation in Dynamic Taping, wound management & suturing, and is aiming to add dry needling to her repertoire within the next year. She has experience working with athletes ranging from amateur to the elite within rugby.
Kirstie is a keen sports woman, playing netball and horse riding. Coming from a sporting background she knows how frustrating it is to gain an injury and takes safe measures to return you to competition fitness as quickly as possible. Kirstie has spent two seasons alongside Ampthill and District Community Rugby Football Clubs as first team sports therapist and is now the sports therapist for the second team who play in the Zoo Shield Division Two North. She provides the team with treatment and rehabilitation at training and matches. Kirstie has previously worked with Gloucester Rugby premiership team providing massage, Newport Gwent Dragons, Wales U20 National team and U13-16 international Ice Hockey teams providing screening assessment days during pre-season. Additionally she has provided post-race massage to cyclists competing in 50-100Km charity cycling events.
