Perfect day today guys. Kids under 12 fish free on paying adults ticket at newton. Only 1 angler on at moment but since video was taken hes on 8 fish. Fish are taking buzzers just under the surface

Davie simpson with yet another lump tonight. He ended up with 12 fish. Jock leslie had a great 3hrs landing 14 fish!!!. A good rise tonight with plenty fish on the surface which is great to see.

Unusually quiet sunday here today. Only 5 rods on so plenty spaces available.

Steady day today. All 13 anglers landed fish..water clarity improving too. Top rod was dylan dunbar on 8 or 9 this being the best of his fish. He commented on how well the place fished, despite myself and my regulars knowing it can be much much better. Glad he and his mate enjoyed their 1st newton experience and are sure to return.

The one I managed from Saturdays Newton Session! These fish always put a great bend in the rod! As you can see, the water was more than a bit choppy with the 35mph gusts and, paired with where the fish were feeding, it was not easy getting a fly in the right place! However, switching to my Helios 2 10ft7w paired with the Orvis Bankshot line and a "chuck and duck" technique soon had me where I needed to be! #orvisbankshot #chuckandduck #nofairweatherfishermanhere #flappylugs

Dan ready to Ghillie for me on our most recent trip to Newton Farm fishery in Wormit. Challenging conditions and me not being entirely on the ball after a few weeks off the water led to only one being landed for my 4 hours! However, the friendly atmosphere fostered by John and the spectacular quality of the Westmill fish stocked at Newton make the 130 mile round trip totally worth it!
