The Board and staff are absolutely delighted to announce that NCT Centre has been awarded a Medium Big Lottery Grant of £100,000 over 2 years to develop more activities and services in the Centre. We will be recruiting a programme manager very soon to help make sure that NCT Centre is THE place to meet all of the communities needs. Congratulations NCT Board, what an incredible end to the year.

Reindeer food available to buy for 50p or a donation towards the centre. This special food made with non toxic and biodegradable glitter mixed with oats is to be sprinkled outside on Christmas Eve to help the reindeer find your house 🎅🏼🦌

On Wednesday we have:- Newmains Activity Group Youth Group P3 to high School from 5.30 p.m. until 7.00 p.m. Line Dancing from 7.30 p.m until 9.30 p.m

Just a reminder Moo Music its not back on until the Thursday 7th December. Line dancing last day Wednesday 6th December and not back on until Wednesday 10th January 2018. Newmains Crafty mix and Crafter noon last day is Tuesday 12th December and its not back on until Tuesday 9th January 2018. Would you like to improve your overall health but not sure how? A WALKING GROUP could be the answer! NCT are working on creating a new Health Walk leaving from and returning to the Centre once a week starting in 2018. If you are interested in either joining the walking group or accessing training to become a certified Walk Leader (training 30th January 2018), please give your details to NCT reception.

Dear all The council is organising a toy ‘giveaway’ for children in most need across North Lanarkshire. We desperately need your donations of toys, your help to sort the toys and your assistance at the giveaway events. How can I help? Donations Place new or good quality pre-loved toys in special boxes in the reception areas at the Civic Centre, Dalziel building, Kildonan Street or Fleming House by 8 December. Anything from books to board games, soft toys etc. Please ensure everything has all the correct pieces. For safety reasons we can’t accept electrical/battery goods or fidget spinners. And please leave gifts unwrapped. Sort Days We need help to check the toys, sort them into age ranges and types and place them on display. This will take place at the locations noted in the table below. Giveaway Days We need volunteers to help make the events special and assist families to find suitable toys.
