Description
The Empire Cafe Established since the 1940s, the Empire Cafe is one of the longest running family businesses in Newbury. It prides itself on serving a locally-sourced, traditional British menu, including roasts and all-day breakfasts, as well as sandwiches and cream teas.
We have our own bakery on-site, where all our bread and cakes are made fresh daily, including our famous lardy cake! A delicious selection is available from our shop.
Celebration cakes are also available, made to your individual requirements. We specialise in wedding cakes and offer a range of sizes and styles to suit your taste, from the traditional tiered to cupcakes! Hire of cake stands and knives is also available. We also stock a wide variety of cake decorations for your own home-baking needs.
Added to all that, we have a private licensed function room - The Upper Crust - located above our premises with a separate entrance. Please call 01635 41424 to chat about your event and to arrange a viewing.
