Lindores Abbey, Fife. Spiritual Home of Scotch Whisky. New distillery to open August 1st 2017. Pre-opening private tours, tastings, dinners by arrangement. Distillery and distillery home due to open in August2017. Ruins are open by appointment. Please telephone or e-mail us and we will be delighted to show you around. We provide a variety of tour packages to include whisky tastings and afternoon teas.

We are staging our own 'Rewind' festival at Lindores Abbey tomorrow night when the Edinburgh renaissance singers perform music last performed here over 500 yrs ago, this will be truly historic and tickets are going fast!

Having a dram Under the shade of our walnut tree, lovely view to the Tay and next year these fields will be full of barley, all is well at Lindores.
Join us this friday Atmospheric musical recital of the Wode Pslalters performed by the Edinburgh University Renaissance singers choir. Thomas Wode gave the world perhaps the most important collection of early modern Scottish music. Taking on the recital is Dr Noel O’Regan who is a reader of music at the University and specialises in late 16th and early 17th century sacred music. The evening will be held in the breath taking grounds of Lindores Abbey Ruins, followed by a delicious picnic supper.
