September 2017 Dear Parents Welcome to the new school year! I am writing to you at this early stage because of the building work in the Infant boiler room. The builders have had to fence off this area and as such, we have had to close the gate that is on the side of school. This means that in the morning, KS2 children will have to enter school grounds either via the large bottom gate onto the playground or via the top corner gate, opposite to our Reception class. At home time, the junior children should also leave through these gates. The Year group most affected at home time however is Year 1; parents should still come to the Year 1 door at the side of the Infant Hall to collect your children. As with the junior pupils, you will need to use the lower gate on the main playground or the gate in the top corner by Reception in order to walk round to the Infant hall door. We had hoped that all of the work would be finished but sadly, it did not start on time and hence has not finished. It is likely to be like this for four weeks. We do apologise but it is beyond our control. Yours Faithfully, Mr M D Hull Headteacher
