This was the Sun a year ago! When the music festivals were in full flow. It’s a pity in this life that the few ruin it for the many. 8 complaints from local residents over 3 festivals, meant we had a noise abatement order placed on us. With the pub being such a seasonal place to visit, we generated more income from the 3 festivals or just 18hours of music, than we did through out the whole of October, November, January, February and March. Now the pub lays closed, derelict, over grown, decaying, all because 8 people wanted to enjoy a BBQ in their back gardens during the summer Over 2k people visited the site during those festivals. Think next time before you pick up the phone because your being inconvenienced by some background noise. You could just be ruining several thousand people’s enjoyment and closing down a business for good. Shanna Richards McMullens are actively looking for a buyer and have no intentions of the building going long term. By highlighting the cause hopefully it will find a buyer quicker and get this fallen giant of a pub back on its feet.
