I am an experienced pianist having started at age four and achieved grade 8 in practical and theory, graduating from the City of Belfast school of Music in 1989.

Started teaching aged 15 with a break working in customer communications and marketing.

Currently specialise in adult teaching and shorter pre-school introduction to music lessons during weekdays with a possibility of lunchtime tuition for school aged children.  Contrary to the norm I do not take children out of school lessons for piano tuition. No experience or prior knowledge necessary.  Learn to play for fun or to pass exams.

Can travel to students' houses in exceptional circumstances, dependent on location.

Located in the beautiful village of Napton on the Hill on the border between Warwickshire and Northamptonshire I am easily accessible for Southam and Daventry and their surrounding villages of Ladbroke, Bishops Itchington, Long Itchington, Priors Marston and Hardwick, Stockton, Staverton etc.

My house is a pet and smoke-free zone and offers a bright, warm and inviting place to learn in comfort.

I believe that learning an instrument, even later in life, can be rewarding, relaxing and revitalising. I encourage anyone, of any age, to embrace music in all its forms and make it an integral part of their life.
