A light filled conservatory offers stunning views from sun up to glowing red sunsets and for the days when the sun doesn't shine and the cooler evenings, an original stone fireplace in the next door sitting room offers a welcome flame. The original beams have been sympathetically exposed throughout and in the Master bedroom they create a special effect with the magnificent four poster bed below. The en-suite bathroom with double washbasin and splendid roll top bath give an added luxury. An ideal  location for those wishing a peaceful and tranquil holiday and who wish to walk from the doorstep and enjoy a plethora of bird and animal life.Birds of prey, including eagles, soar above the peaked Munros' and ancient Caledonian pine forests are home to Red and Sika deer.


The Strathconon Highland games are a great spectacal in such a wonderful setting. The glen has no shops or restaurants but the Market town of Dingwall is only 13 miles and has supermarkets, restaurants and shopping along with the Highlands livestock market which is an interesting sight on market day. Contin (12 miles) has a lovely Country House Hotel with good food and a village shop.A day trip to the west coast with Ullapool, the ferry port to the Outer Hebrides witin an hours drive. Inverness, the Highland capital has boat trips on Loch Ness excellent restaruants and lively pubs with music and a riverside theatre. Chanory point on the Black Isle is a good spot to view the Moray firth dolphins and the villages of Fortrose, Rosemarkie and Cromarty are charming discoveries.
