Acupuncture in animals can only be carried out by a qualified veterinary surgeon. Acupuncture has many applications in human and animal medicine. For many individuals it provides excellent pain relief and is often used as part of a pain management protocol. It also has wide ranging applications in performance animals and is a useful tool for the competition horse and dog. Acupuncture can also be used in management of certain medical and behavioural complaints.

This was very interesting - acupuncture before and after thermography scans. Careful interpretation needed with these, and I confess to not knowing enough to be in a position to ...but fascinating nonetheless! And Puzzle was a fantastic patient. Thank you Miranda Heynes.

Rupert is 16 and very arthritic so this isn't his favourite time of year; he comes regularly for acupuncture which really helps with mobility and reducing his pain levels. He can't tolerate regular pain killers and anti-inflammatories. Today he was very relaxed and slept deeply after treatment.
