Well what can I say, a lovely day, with talented students, a wonderful premises, and a fabulous examiner ( Mrs Richardson) You all looked beautiful and danced like you love what you’re doing and that’s all we ask. There were lots of smiles and I was very proud of each and everyone of you. Thank you to our head girl Jesse Mary and seniors Danyela and Alice for helping out with the younger ones and to the parents who helped too (Kelly and Julie). Thank you to Andy for doing the music and to Mrs page for allowing us yet again to use our lovely dance school Page Mason. Thank you to the teachers who had to move classes tonight because of our exams (Lizzie and Aimee) we hope you all enjoyed your exams and look forward to our next set. Running a dance school is rewarding but hard work! There is a lot of organising, problem solving and planning that goes on behind the scenes that parents and students may not always see. I wanted to write a post to give a shout out to one very special young lady who is always right there by my side helping where ever she can, never having to be asked, always willing and never complaining! Ive been meaning to write a post recently and yesterday she went above and beyond yet again helping not only me but other students giving them support and comfort where necessary. so here is what i would like to say to her ..... What is a head girl? Some one who provides a positive role model to the students, someone who is hard working shows initiative and is proactive. She develops positive relationships with pupils and staff and represents the school when required. She is helpful, polite and supportive to the staff and is a great leader. all of these things and more (talented, crazy, funny, slightly bonkers and accident prone) describe Jesse Mary our head girl and we are lucky to have her xxx So young in this picture little cutie! (one of our LA originals!)xxx💜
