Vet Sarah Holmes has rellocated to Mochdre Vets, a veterinary practice and hydrotherapy centre offering the best care for your pet. Mochdre Vets offers everything you would expect from a modern veterinary surgery but also specialises in pain management and rehabilitation with additional services such as hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, acupuncture, laser therapy and specialised massage which means that we can tailor a treatment programme for any of your pets ailments.

At Mochdre Vets our aim is to work with our clients to get the best for their pets as we would want for our own pets.  We know that the best care for your very special pet is achieved by a partnership between you and us.  Our team believe in client education and offer consultations ranging from weight management to Golden pet checks and we will always be happy to offer advice and answer any questions.  We are all very proud of the surgery so if you would like a tour just ask one of our friendly receptionists.

We are the first veterinary practice in North Wales to offer qualified hydrotherapists,an underwater treadmill and dedicated specialist consults. We believe that clients should be offered the first class service of a larger referral centre without having to travel.

We provide our own out of hours for our clients and offer 20 minute consults with longer consulting times to fit around your busy schedule.  Mochdre is an ideal conveniently placed location, we are on the main road so you are guaranteed to see us and we have our own car park.

Thanks to the children that attended they all drew pictures of their day which Claires son Luca aged 6(pictured with his mum) judged to win an Easter prize. Well done to Amy the winner, junior came second and it was very close for third as the pictures were so amazing

Cats may have evolved their “tone of voice” to communicate with humans. Cats' natural vocal range would be inaudible to humans, but they communicate feelings such as affection, hunger, and fear within the range of human hearing. Some researchers believe that this is learned behaviour to help cats to relate to humans. The more you talk to your cat, the more it will talk to you.

If you read our newsletter you may realise we love a good pun or cheesy joke so found it really difficult to pick a favourite cat joke and it came down to joint winners as the two jokes we are likely to use ourselves are thanks to Tracy and Carwen (please email us at info@mochdrevets.co.uk to claim your cat related prize) and if you missed them What is it called when a cat wins a dog show? A CAT-HAS-TROPHY! What did the cat say when the trainee Veterinary nurse took his temperature... Mi..Awww
